SCRUMBLY FALL DAYS

Fall here has been somewhat disorganized. We've had nice days and then miserable days. On tree has leaves that have turned color and the tree beside it is still green.

So here are a few photos to show you my scrumbly fall.

  1. You do have some beautiful Fall colors coming on now! Our trees have not started changing yet but we just this last week had some cooler days. I'm sure before you know it they will all be changed to their beautiful Fall colors.

  2. Hello,
The yellow tree is gorgeous. It is slow to turn here, everything is still green! Lovely sky and photos. Have a happy day and a great new week!

  4. I am reminded of two trees on a path not too far from here. Grown side by side, one was read, the other green. This was a few years ago, but you post caused me to remember.

    1. Yes, I've seen the same thing. there's probably a very simple explanation.

  5. It is so pretty there, those blue blue skies and beautiful clouds, and the leaves changing.

  8. Blue skies, clouds and some lovely colour.
Scrumbly would be a good scrabble word if it's a word.

  12. It might be disorganinsed now but in no time you will be past fall and into the depths of winter.
We don't have much fall colour in Sydney and I'm glad it means I don't have to rake leaves!

  13. There can be such a haphazard mixture of weather and leaf colour this time of year. Our trees are barely starting to turn now. And our weather has been all over the place in both temperature and precipitation. A true fall!

  14. Thank you, Red for sharing your world. I do miss seeing the fall colors. We used to fly to Illinois and Maryland in fall and see the colors, but we haven't been able to go in a couple of years now. Sigh...

  15. Our garden is sure looking scrumbly these days, on last legs. No real leaf color changes here yet though.

  16. May be scrumbly, but it sure looks pretty there. That is a beautiful blue sky. We've had crazy weather here too. No colored leaves yet.

  17. I noticed the hickory are turning. I thought, "And so it begins..." We both live in a pretty part of the world to savor fall. Lots of trees!

  18. Hi Red, I enjoyed this post and your fall photos. I thought I would tell you photo #5 is my favorite when I noticed it was also #7. I smiled about that and then noticed that #6 got in there twice too. Well, they’re good photos, so why not? :-) The most amusing thing, though, was looking at all the comments and seeing that not one of them mentioned the photos being in there twice. I found that kind of curious. Anyway, thanks for giving us a look at fall in Red Deer.
