Power in Clouds

I gazed---and gazed---but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought.
From William Wordsworth's I wandered Lonely as a Cloud

This bank of clouds built up in mid afternoon

More of the same cumulus clouds.

More of this huge bank of clouds

We can think of clouds in a romantic aspect  or we can think of clouds in a scientific way.

Clouds are beautiful but at the same time it takes  tremendous energy to build a cloud and that energy is contained in the cloud.

These clouds built up the other day and stayed south of me. I could enjoy the beauty but had sunshine all the time and I didn't get wet.

    1. Yes, we get some pretty good clouds but only get a good view once in a while.

  4. Ah. The beauty of the clouds without the pain. A nice way to go. They look like they were really cooking somewhere.

    1. Yes, I envy the big sky you have to watch clouds. Here, there's always some house in the way.

  10. Now, those are monsters Red - glad they stayed south of you. We had a tremendous black cloud come by two nights ago, and that's all it did. We prepared for the downpour, but the cloud stayed on the other side of the river in U.S.A. Have a great day.

    1. And how many artists include clouds to draw things out from their paintings?

  12. Clouds, especially big puffy ones such as these, remind me of days gone by, laying in the fields and staring at the clouds finding shapes and/or objects in the sky. Fantastic memories of days gone by, I just might have to do this again before our snow flies, reconnect with big white puffy clouds which look like clusters of giant marshmallows. :-)

    Have a wonderful day Red!
