THE WALKER

When I took the museum photos the other day , I had arranged to meet my wife in the museum parking lot. I had extra time so I looked for other things that might make a good photo. I had gone over to the side walk in the area and then I saw my wife at the end of the street.

I took a number of photos as she was walking toward me. I thought nothing of it. My wife does not like her photo being taken. she didn't know I was taking photos and still doesn't.

The walker turned out to be an interesting photo and I wish I had taken more in the sequence.

So have fun looking at the walker and wondering what's going on. The walker insists that she carries the big bag. You can't separate her from the bag. she also has one of the biggest heaviest handbags you could find. so these two bags overwhelm her and make her look larger than she is.

  2. But when you need something - ANYTHING - WE are the ones who have it in our big bags :)

Actually I had to start carrying a small bag a few years back due to a pinched nerve in my shoulder. But I still manage to have a lot of stuff a man would never have because how much can you really fit in a wallet in a back pocket? ha ha

    1. Now you make me feel guilty. My wife is not interested in my blog at all. Walking like this is always one of her best photos.

  5. Hello, I like your walker photos. But, does your wife know you put her photo on your blog. The big bag would hurt my shoulders and back to carry all the time, she must not have problems. That is good. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend ahead!

  7. An interesting concept ... but she doesn't look that happy in the last photo so maybe she did see that you were taking photos of her. Remember, our wives know more than we think, and more than they let on!

  11. They are good photos. My wife buys new purses and forgets she like to take along a lot of things. So she keeps it for a couple of months and goes back and buys a big one.

  13. I used to have a bag like your wife. My Dr said to me one day. Have I ever thought of a smaller purse. I said why? I thought back then. She has a nerve. Then she said about shoulder problems later on. Now I have smaller but still the strap but smaller of course. I put the strap around neck so I have purse in front of my chest. Not the best looking fashion. I have two large ones though. It is a beautiful red and other a butterfly one. Both very soft leather. Just take it to special places. Like the Hospital. When they ask you for all those papers information. Plus my daughter in-law taught me how to wear it front ways rather then on the back. Us ladies seem to want to stay in the fashion. Meaning who wants a purse in front. Well now I have grown into custom with bigger purse to save my shoulder. Now what about my neck. One cant win. What has she got hanging on end of her purse? A plastic shopping bag you think.

  14. That was the 16th. This is the 17th. Are you divorced yet? More to the point are you still alive?

  16. I enjoyed seeing the walker. The pictures are good! The only time my husband takes my picture is when I fall asleep on the sofa, usually with my mouth open. It drives me crazy! I'm about to the point of not even sitting down in the living room!

  17. What is in the Micro Manager's bag? Perhaps a tent, an inflatable rubber raft, a packed lunch and her trusty manual - "How To Micromanage an Unruly Husband" by Eva Braun.

  18. You've taken a serious risk here Red. Critiquing the size of a spouse handbag of the weight of her luggage is living on edge. I know cause I've been there....

  19. It's always a good thing to have a useful bag handy! The Walker appears to be shielding her face in that first photo. Are you SURE she wasn't aware you were taking her picture? :)

  21. You're a brave man Red. I usually ask my wife and if she doesn't like the photo, I usually don't keep it but there are times when I do. :)
