I Lost My Underwear!

Now with a title like this some of you have your brain working in overdrive right now. Some are saying," Could there be pictures?" And some are saying, "Don't look Ethel!"

Now yesterday morning when I was getting dressed, my underwear were not in the place they were supposed to be. They are supposed to be on top of the chair with all my other clothes for the day.  So if they weren't on the top of the chair , where could they be?  I looked through the clothes on top of the chair...nothing. I looked on the floor under the chair...nothing. Well what about in the clothes hamper...nothing. Could they have got mixed up with the bedding...no.

So I'll just get another clean pair of underwear. As soon as I went to put the new underwear on I found the old ones. I was wearing them!!! Now I got mad first but then I thought it over and did I feel stupid!

So what's my excuse. Well, it's awfully dark here in the morning at 7 AM. The sun rises at 7:45 AM. Okay, I did put the lights on. Okay , I'm really losin' it? It's a senior moment?  Well it's some combination of all of the above.

Me worry about this? No! If I didn't know where to put my underwear then I would be in trouble. So for now it's just a laugh.

So what's your best senior moment? Would you admit to a senior moment?

  2. Oh, boy, that's a good laugh on you that is fun for all of us to hear about. And while that does not exactly match any of my senior moments. I have had similar ones.

    1. I wonder sometimes what actually happens to our brains when things like this happen.

  8. My most recent senior moment was locking my car keys in the trunk. Just last week. But your moment sure made me laugh. I've done similar things, I'm sure! :-)

    1. I think a lot of young people lock their keys in the car , not just old folks.

  9. I hate it when I step into the shower, pause and wonder what's different. I've forgotten to take off my glasses. If I can't stop doing this I'm going to be in the market for tiny windshield wipers.

  11. My craziest senior moment...I was sitting in the car talking to my daughter on my cell phone as I frantically searched the front seat, floorboard, and my purse, thinking, "I need to find my cell phone before I get out of the car.

  12. Well I thought to myself this evening "Why is Red's post still open? I commented this morning." I was just reminding myself what the comment was when I realised that I'd only thought the comment and not written it down. I can't even guess how many times that happens to me.

    1. Yes, many times we have to ask why is that open or whatever and then it hits us.

  13. oh you cracked me up. I dare tell what happened to me when I was shy 21 year old having a physical. I am too
embarrassed to tell. So when I laugh I am laughing at my self. I was not wearing them on my head. Adrians comment I think that is a hilarious. I have done what Stephen hayes done. I wear my glass all the time. So many a time I have jumped in the shower well not jumped. Am I kidding myself. I have them on. Then I yell to my hubby can you come and get my glass's. Yes, soaking wet my glass's.. Yes I seen the title also. Had to see what is up with Red.

  15. Hahaha! I bet you had a good laugh over this. Senior moments? Yes, I have a few now and then, and find humour in them! We have to laugh at ourselves, don't we?

  16. Even my wife thought this one was funny.

  17. Loved this one.
And remember, don't worry that you lost your underwear as long as you could remember what it was for. :)

  18. What I love about this is that not only did you deem it to be something of a senior moment, there was no doubt that it was also a blogging moment.

  19. Tease!
I would even have settled for a shot of you IN your underwear.

Senior moments are two a penny nowadays, hardly worth getting excited over. It’s good to laugh, even about ourselves.

  22. Yes. I sit on the front step, putting on my socks and shoes, and forget one sock. What's with this?
