Need I Say "Snow"?

Yes, it snowed last night! I looked out at 12:30 AM and there was heavy snow falling. It was my favorite kind of snow. The air was full of large snowflakes . I should have put my pants on and gone outside to take photos!

The sun rose this morning at 6:17 and sets tonight at 20:48 for a total of 14 hours and 31 minutes of sunlight.

  1. I should be grateful we haven't gotten snow in the past week. Quite the winter wonderland you have there!

  3. Yes, I must say you should have gone out and taken photos. I love those big snowflakes too. Did you ever watch them land and quickly take a photo of of "one" in all its beauty. Snow is lovely, but the actual snowflake is astonishingly beautiful. Cheers

    1. I'm not that fast with my camera to get a snowflake before it melts. You'd just like to see me outside in the snow after getting out of a warm bed!

    1. It does disappear quickly. I would also bet that it's not the last snow we get.

  8. Hi Red, I like this kind of snow. It doesn't look like this will add to the Micro Manager's list. :-)

    2. Glad to hear there is no shovelling this time. By the way, to answer your question over at my blog, yes, they still make shredded wheat.

    1. This won't be our last snow either. I don't complain about weather. I've spent too much of my life outside.

    1. Your snow looked icy and blown by the wind.

  11. I can't help but smile when I see that. We had some snow the other day, though it didn't linger for long.

  13. Red I don't like that last comment, it'd better be the last of the snow! lol We thankfully didn't get the snow here in the city, but it's been chilly especially after coming home from a week where it averaged 28!

    Wishing you a wonderful week!

  14. Well Red. We had that snow but never lasted but to-morrow and all week calls for Spring weather. So lets be positive.
Too depressing this long winter. Enough is enough.
