I Can't Recognize Myself!

You might have guessed this would happen. I spent a good part of my winter scanning photos. I found many photos of myself and I couldn't resist putting them out there to show my aging.

Since I was a teacher I have a school photo for almost every year. That takes me to age 57. I've been retired for 19 years.

  3. It's interesting to see one's aging progression through the years. You're fortunate you have a photo for every year. I think you've aged very well. I'm sure a lot of it is due to good fitness and healthy outdoor activities.

  4. That is always funny to see someone changing, different haircuts, changing colour in the end...

  7. Hi Red, I think Linda Reeder nailed the comment on this one. :-) Now, I will take this opportunity to say Thank You for your comment on my blog a few days ago when you said, "It must be nice to have front row seat to a busy harbor." Red, you are so right. I am lucky indeed. Before I moved, about one year ago, I had a tiny view of Puget Sound but not close enough or big enough to identify and take pics of ships as they arrived and departed. For one who loves ships my new location is great. I will try to share a lot of this fun on the blog.

  13. I love seeing photos like these! I feel like I might know you in that 1954 picture.:) You look like a highway patrolman in the 1960. To me, the 1970's had the ugliest clothes, colors, hair styles, furniture, sideburns...everything. But you are handsome in all the pictures.

  18. Great idea Red.... I've encouraged my children to take a good shoulders and full shot every five years as it'll be lovely to look back on. I have many years gaps between some of my life's photos and often wished I had more regular photos taken. Oh and Red? I reckon we all recognised you!
