FAMILY TRIVIA

This week my daughter as in France ...working.

This week my son was in Las Vegas...working.

I thought this was pretty neat for my kids.

My daughter is the manager of education and training for the company she works for. When her company buys other companies she goes out and trains the new company on changes they will have to make to their operation.

My son works for a high tech company and he was in Las Vegas at a trade show showing the company's products.

At least one of them could have taken Dad with them for the week!

  1. Nice photos of your children and you and the micromanager. It's wonderful both your kids have perks of travel. Which one offered to take you away? Or do you always decline?

  2. That would be a bit strange when they arrived there with their father? :)
The world is becoming smaller with all the transports there are now.

    1. Her husband is with her this week as it's spring break for teachers. He goes off on his own and sees things while she works. Both of them speak fluent French and some German.

  3. I would much rather have gone to France than to Las Vegas, how about you? Nice to have family that travels like that, Red. :-)

    1. Don't feel sorry for her. She gets the perks of staying extra time to see some things. Her next trip is South Africa.

  7. Kids! You raise them, you sacrifice for them, you worry over them, you spend your little foreign car money on their education ... and when they grow up, do they ever take you anywhere?? No :)

On the other hand, seeing your kids be successful and happy is a pretty good feeling!

    1. Hawaii would be easy to arrange. For France I'd have to do some detailed planning.

    1. I have an open invitation. She has somebody to make all her arrangements. I would have to piggyback on her plans somehow.

  11. My daughter has the same job as yours for a big international company and gets to take these trips all the time and I am jealous! I wouldn't be jealous of Vegas though. Not my thing. Hope you get a postcard or two!

    1. My daughter always wanted the overseas experience. Vegas has the big trade shows and that means money. My daughter works out of Chicago.

  16. I think our now grownups think we are too old at times. They think they may be our babysitters. One of my members when I write on Facebook. They look and if they think I have written it incorrect. Writes and quotes me on it. I think you should of worded it this way Mom. Really. I find as adults they become more like discipline parents. Do this or that. Better you have not gone Red. Unless you could of had days adventuring on your own. And I don't think they would happen . Do you?
