WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE SHUT TRUMP UP

We've heard Trump's outrageous, illogical, truth bending, incorrect and unfounded comments many times. They do far more harm than good for all concerned.

Trump made one of his wild comments this week after the G 7 conference. The conference was held in Canada and since I'm a Canadian I was interested in the conference more than usual. Since I'm Canadian, I was offended by Trump's comments.

The G 7 conferences are tightly controlled and very precise as to what happens. Everybody takes the  same step. All the details are looked after behind the scenes.

The host chairman is the leader of the host country. In this case the chairman was Prime Minister Trudeau.

Trump got antsy and decided he had to leave for the North Korean summit but before leaving he had signed what was agreed to at the conference.

A few hours into Trump's Asian flight he flew into a rage and called Justin Trudeau, weak, a liar and back stabber! Trump claimed that he had not agreed to anything in the conference final statement which he had signed.

    Where did that come from?

The comments as well as being wrong were most inappropriate. It's okay to have those ideas. However, expressing those opinions is wreckless and isn't going to do any good.

The comments tell us more about Trump than about problems at the G 7 Summit.

Could somebody shut this guy up. We don't need to hear such outrageous lunacy anymore.

  1. Oh Red, if only I knew a way to shut that man up. I may be American but I am ashamed and embarrassed by Trump. Daily. His words and his actions during and after the G 7 conference were atrocious. The things he says and continually tweets are going to cause our country to lose our allies. He acts like he is more interested in forming relationships with Russia and North Korea than with our long term allies. I know, something has to be done to keep North Korea from blowing us all up but I think something needs to be done about Trump. Please believe me when I say that most Americans do not agree with the remarks he has made about our allies and your Prime Minister Trudeau. Most Americans did not vote for him as was shown by the fact that he did not win the popular vote. I still think something was not right about that election. We were all shocked when he won. I just hope we get through the rest of his term with as little damage done as possible.

    1. Your last sentence is key. It doesn't seem like there's any method or will to shut him up. My daughter is an american so I have some idea of what's going on.

  3. Needless to say I’m heart sick over the situation in the White House. I’m even more alarmed by the situation in Congress. In times like this I resort to reading history. It seems to help a little to remember other dicey times in history.

    1. It's a puzzle as to why Congress doesn't do anything to curb Trump.

  4. How I wish I had that superpower, Red!

He's getting more outrageous all the time. I like this line that I read recently: He is getting more and more confident, but confidence is not competence.

    :)

  5. I felt like I needed to apologies to Canada, so I guess you'll do to represent Canadians. Many of us Americans are sorry that our president acted so much like a petulant child at the G-7 conference. He is an embarrassment to us, and a threat to international stability.
Trump is a narcissist and as such he considers only himself. He was in a hurry to get to North Korea and embrace Kim, murderous dictator that he is, so the he, Trump, can win the Nobel Peace Prize. Yes, I know. it's crazy. That's what we're dealing with.

    1. Apologies are not needed to the Canadian people. Trump has to apologize to Trudeau for some very awful things he said.

  7. It is a shame to have such a man at such an important position. He brings the world down with his behaviour and his lack of intellect.

  8. I hear you.
    This was an interesting listen:
"Culture Weaponized: Shutting our mouths and opening our ears"
The problem is America has elected a president on the basis of scapegoating. So when we say 'Make America Great Again', the message here is that America is not great now because of fill-in-the-blank. And that's why we've really got to turn that argument on its head. It's not clear that America is not great.

  9. I do wish there was some way to stop him from ruining everything he touches, but the only thing we can do here in the US is VOTE. I will hope for change in November. But he's got at least another 2.5 years in office. :-(

  10. It's like a bad dream that one really can't wake up from. And there is no where to turn for any long term relief. It's disgusting and demoralizing, and....awful.

    1. It's unbelievable what went on at the G 7. It would be extremely unfair for the world to take action that would hurt the American people.

  11. Hi Red, 100% agree with and second what you said in this post. As an American I find Trump to be a total embarrassment. The G7 Meeting set a new low as Trump disrespected our Allies and said Russia should be added back into the Group. The man is off his rocker. Can’t wait for him to be out of office!

  12. I cannot apologize for this madman as I did not vote for him and I do not support him. I will not apologize for the racist thugs and the Russian oligarchs who want to keep him in office. I am sorry for your stress, though. This whole G7 anger was a setup separation and something Putin has wanted for a long time.

  13. He's a seventy plus year old man with the emotional responses of a toddler in permanent temper tantrum mode. He is a thin skinned, unfit for office narcissistic thug who thinks the world revolves around him. He has absolutely no idea what he's doing, and he's an idiot incapable of finishing a sentence without wandering into another line of thought. He panders to white supremacists and feeds into hate. He defers to tyrants and sociopaths and burns bridges with traditional allies. He doesn't care about the long term damage he is doing to his country and to the world at large. He will never, ever change.

I sometimes wonder if someone had beaten the crap out of him at the age of ten, had he ended up a better person for it. Probably not.

At this point, I consider him the worst human being alive today. The day that insufferable bloody blowhard is removed from office can't come soon enough.

As for the Republican party? This was once the party of Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, and Eisenhower. They would be disgusted by what has become of it.

What is going to happen if Trump isn't given the Nobel? I just dread that hissy fit.

  15. Oh, yes, PLEASE, someone shut him up. (And vote him out of office.) Trump thrives on chaos and on keeping everyone off-balance. This is just another example of his machinations, designed to show the rest of the western world that he is boss.

  16. Hello Red, I wish he would shut up. He is an embarrassment to our country. I did not vote for him, the popular vote was not for him either. I was hoping he would be impeached, he is such a con man and using the presidency to benefit his pocket and company. He is a disgrace and the worst president ever. The GOP is complicit and letting him get away with way too much, they need to go too. Sorry for the rant, I hate him. On the nicer side, thanks so much for visiting my blog and for leaving a comment. Have a happy day and new week ahead.

  17. He is a very controversial man. He is a businessman first and a politician second or third and he steps on lots of toes... that is just Trump for you. I voted for him..as the alternative was not to my liking at all...she was a traitor and a crook at least Trump is not that yet.
    Happy Father's Day Red:)

  18. He is a habitual liar and an embarrassment to the world. You can't trust anything he says because he'll change his mind, make something up and create chaos.

  19. A lottery has taken place and you yourself Red have been selected to shut Trump up... permanently. You will have to undergo assassination training with the Taliban in Afghanistan. When the chosen day comes, please don't miss when you squeeze the trigger.
