SNOWY IMAGES

This weekend , Sept 27, 28,  and 29 we had snowfall. We were very fortunate as we missed the very heavy snow. We had maybe one or two cm.  Further south the storm and snowfall were brutal. Waterton Lakes National Park, on the American border, had 95 cm of snow. They had the snowplows out. Calgary had about 30 cm of snow. It slowed a large city down and there was lots of street clearing.

    1. Yes, 95 cm would be a big problem. I don't think that will melt before winter.

  4. I've been hearing about a lot of snow near you! It is pretty but I know it can be a problem if you get very much snow when all the leaves are still on the trees. This has happened to us and we had quite a few broken limbs as a result of the extra weight. You have some pretty pictures and I'm glad to see your streets were just wet and not icy!

  7. Is it early or normal for your place? I always like the view of fresh fallen snow, a bit fairy tail looking....
