SPRING

Well, the first day of spring is usually Mar. 21. I thought I'd show you what Mar. 21 looks like here today. I went out about 10:30 AM and got some photos in very bright sunshine. It was made brighter by all the snow.

Just to clear a few things up, some Mar. 21's we may not have any snow.  And some Mar.21's may have more snow. Today's high was plus 2 C or about 35 F.
Don't worry. Spring is coming here.

  1. Cough-cough! Today was March 20th, not the 21st. I guess these kind of errors occur from time to time when you have advanced beyond the age of eighty.

  4. You have somewhat more snow than we do. And we don’t have any on the streets. It might be different outside of town, however.

  6. Well no matter what the weather is, the calendar says spring. That's a pretty unspringlike view out your window though.

  9. We had 60F temps yesterday which melted the last of the snow and today's forecasted rains will take care of any hidden in the corners and crevices.

    1. Yes, I'm sure most people would feel all right when they see my snow. It does melt rapidly when it warms up.

    1. Once it warms up the snow disappears rapidly as the sun is more direct and up for more hours.
