Today was a great fall day. It was bright so the fall colors showed nicely. I finally got out to take some photos. I was able to show some harvesting that was complete. Then I was able to look out across the Red Deer valley. You can see some of the city in a couple of shots.
I had actually gone out for lunch with some elderly colleagues. I'm the oldest. So while I was waiting for them, I took the photos.
It's wonderful to meet up with friends. I'm so glad you had this time together. My daughter tells me that it's gotten cooler for fall in Illinois too.

I see at least a couple of them brought their phones … gotta love it. Enjoyed the pics of the wide-open spaces. I didn’t realize Red Deer is in a valley.
ReplyDeleteJohn we were all teachers and taught together a few times. One of them taught overseas for a time and was administrator of schools in Korea. One was an art teacher. One became an assistant superintendent. One was a long term vice principal. We were all befriended by an older teacher. He started having us for lunch Although he has passed on we still meet for lunch.
