Along with colors we had some good sky scenes with cloud build ups.
So from time to time I grabbed the camera and took a bunch of shots. Most I deleted.
So here are some of the shots I kept.
Excuse the neighbor's eave's trough on the left |
There's a lot of power in this one. |
Lots of sunlight on the birch |
A large poplar that's past it's prime |
A mountain ash with red berries to go along with yellow leaves. |
Wow love the pictures. I love fall time!! I am ready to take some pictures of the fall colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Our colors are just about at the end. many leaves have fallen.
Deleteawesome thunderheads and great fall colors, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks. We seem to have had the big clouds this sept.
DeleteI love to see the Indian Summer colours.
ReplyDeleteThey've been good here this fall.
DeleteYou are ahead a lot with fall colors. Just seeing a bit around here, it grows each day.
ReplyDeleteThe peak has passed here.
DeleteThey are beautiful photos! We still have leaves, although they are dropping before they are turning!
ReplyDeleteWe've had the peak and now the leaves are dropping quickly.
DeleteGreat clouds, too. We've begun watching them more now that my husband had been learning how to paint them.
ReplyDeleteClouds are forever changing so there's always something new to see.
DeleteI love reading the blogs this time of year from my more northern writers. Such a stupendous collection of beauty.
ReplyDeleteAnd we like seeing the reds you have when your leaves change.
DeleteThose clouds are awesome! And you did get plenty of great shots, Red. Keep 'em coming. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou do color up fast and furious in the north land. Our coloring up is just beginning and will last through the month of October, except for the drought stricken trees that just give up and turn brown.
ReplyDeleteColors come quickly but are over just as quickly.
DeleteFantastic pictures Keith!!!
ReplyDeleteTracey
Thanks neighbor. This has been great year for color.
DeleteAt least you got some color! We are still waiting here:)
ReplyDeleteYours will come. I'm surprised by our color this year.
DeleteThe birch and ash are my favourites. I'm taking the odd colours shot these days. Our fall colours are late this year!
ReplyDeleteBirch and ash are great for yellow but our aspen have bright yellow as well.
DeleteThose clouds look straight out of the illustrations of N.C. Wyeth, one of my favorite artists.
ReplyDeleteHey, I like Wyeth too. I'll have to look at his clouds again.
DeleteWow, you have so much autumn colour. We're not quite there yet. And those clouds are spectacular. Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteWe have great color but very little red.
ReplyDeleteWonderful. My favourite colours.
ReplyDeleteHi Red, Red Deer sure has some nice fall colors and they do start early, don't they? This year at least, we'll be well into October before we hit the peak colors.
ReplyDeleteRed,
ReplyDeleteI love those white clouds. Magnificent.
