I Bin Workin' Hard!

I've been working hard to get some photos of fall colors. Yes, our colors started few weeks ago and the best of it is over.

Along with colors we had some good sky scenes with cloud build ups.

So from time to time I grabbed the camera and took a bunch of shots. Most I deleted.

So here are some of the shots I kept.

Excuse the neighbor's eave's trough on the left

There's a lot of power in this one.

Lots of sunlight on the birch

A large poplar that's past it's prime

A mountain ash with red berries to go along with yellow leaves.

  6. Great clouds, too. We've begun watching them more now that my husband had been learning how to paint them.

  9. You do color up fast and furious in the north land. Our coloring up is just beginning and will last through the month of October, except for the drought stricken trees that just give up and turn brown.

  12. The birch and ash are my favourites. I'm taking the odd colours shot these days. Our fall colours are late this year!

    1. Birch and ash are great for yellow but our aspen have bright yellow as well.

  13. Those clouds look straight out of the illustrations of N.C. Wyeth, one of my favorite artists.

  16. Hi Red, Red Deer sure has some nice fall colors and they do start early, don't they? This year at least, we'll be well into October before we hit the peak colors.
