Reflections

  1.      At age 75 I have much time and a lifetime of experiences to reflect upon. I have done many posts that are reflections. Many posts are a reflection on my teaching career. However, there are many other aspects of my life that I reflect upon. Try childhood, education, mistakes, youth, friends, colleagues, family. All of this is about the life I've lived.
In my last post I referred to my Arctic experience. It's an experience that changed my life forever and I'm happy for that.

So I was out for a walk yesterday afternoon with a few other birders and found some unexpected photo opportunities...reflections.

  1. A fascination with water reflections was one of the first things prompting me to becoming an artist.

  2. These are beautiful images! The water is so still. I'm guessing you had little to no wind?

    1. Thanks. Yes, no wind and just the right light and I was luckily in the right spot.

  3. No winds around make nice reflections, like looking in a mirror.

    1. The more photos you take the more you learn. I see some mistakes in these.

    1. We've had a super fall. I've been leading a field trip on Sunday afternoons so I've been out on a regular basis.

  6. Nice reflections, Red. Somehow you seem to have had a numeral 1 on your first paragraph. I looked for the number 2 but there isn't one. :-)

    1. Thanks. I don't know how the 1 got there and I couldn't get rid of it. I was trying to put in a number of links and I couldn't get the links to work either.

  7. I love reflections too. Even in our little pond, sometimes I run inside for the camera when the reflections are really pretty. You have such a peaceful place to walk.

    1. Thanks. This area is an off leash dag park so it's busy. I can find places where there are very few people.
