I'M GLOATING!

Last night I took some moon  shots because it was very clear here. I was worried if I waited until tonight we might have some cloud. Well, it's a very clear evening so I took a shot just to show you how lucky I am.  Now it's not a good photo as my camera and the operator are limited.

I hope all of you get some shots tonight or tomorrow.

This makes up for the last three weeks when I wanted to see northern lights and we had nothing but cloud.

  1. Lucky you. Only clouds here. A storm is moving in.

  2. Wonderful! You have every right to gloat. Our clouds blocked the moon as it was rising and now it's high enough in the sky that it looks just like a normal full moon. :-(

    1. I think you have a much higher percentage of cloud than we do.

    1. It's disappointing when something like this comes along and we can't see it.

  6. We didn't see anything yesterday evening because of the very low clouds. I will have to wait for 48 years now for a second change :)

    1. No you don't have to wait 48 years. The next one is 2034. I'll only be 95 then!

  7. Comparing your super moon picture with mine, I notice that there is a subtle difference in the angle of the moon's face. Your Sea of Crisis is much closer to the moon's northern pole than mine is.

This means I will be out on my motorbike. Also , highest tide is today at noon, so I will be down at waters edge to eve that. Great photos and you do deserve bragging rts.

    1. 80's? That's something. I've ridden bike this week but this morning I brought my speedometer in so biking's finished.

    1. Well, I wasn't one who sat outside for hours. I spent time getting photos and that was all.

  14. I took a couple of shots from over the Canal last evening, but the zoom on my camera's next to useless for that sort of thing.

    1. Thankyou. You've got to take quite a few shots when the camera is hand held.
