So I went out quickly looking for treats! Well, after looking all through the yard I found nothing! Well, maybe I will go back to believing the Easter bunny is a fake.
All kidding aside , we had a nasty day weather wise yesterday. It was dull, windy, with a little snow and about minus 2 C (28 F) all day.
It snowed overnight so footprints showed in detail.
Now with all the tracks, I think I had more than one rabbit. I'm guessing three as I've seen three together this week.
So footprints in the snow leave a story of what went on overnight.
This morning was cold minus 7C (20F) and clear.
Yikes! That's cold! It's warm in Chicago and Maryland from what my kids are telling me. I wish I could send you some warmth from over here.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter just called and they had highs in the 20C (70 F)
DeleteIf the Easter Bunny showed up here, he'd be scared away by Olga. So it's just as well we didn't see any trace of a visit. I can't believe how cold it is there! You're past due for spring to begin, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteOh we get nasty weather in the spring. These rabbits are the big ones...10 pounds.
DeleteNot an Easter Bunny but The Micro Manager on stilts with rabbit foot stoppers on the ends - just to confuse you.
ReplyDeleteWell, whoever it was , they didn't leave a treat.
DeleteI miss the snow for this bonus: tracking what went on in the night! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteNothing like fresh snow to show all the tracks.
DeleteToo bad they didn't leave any treats for you! That's quite a bit of snow you got but not unheard of in Canada.
ReplyDeleteTonight it's supposed to snow all night.
DeleteThose are definitely bunny tracks. No treats? He must have run out by the time he got to your place, Red. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe next year!
DeleteAll those tracks and no treats? Bummer!
ReplyDeleteThe treat is to watch these big guys.
DeleteI think it was several bunnies dancing in the snow! I've always suspected there was more than one Easter bunny in order to get all those eggs hidden the world around in one night.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly made a few miles in my yard with all the tracks.
DeleteHappy Easter looks like the bunnies had a party in your yard! :)
ReplyDeleteThey had a good time running around.
DeleteI was thinking it looked like evidence of more than one rabbit. I hope it warms up soon for you. Take care.
ReplyDeleteWe have a miserable forecast for the next week.
DeleteAre you sure they didn't leave you some little round chocolate eggs? ...
ReplyDeleteSorry, couldn't resist :)
I left that one out there for you . By the way they're called raisins here!
DeleteNot ready for anymore snow here, wearing shorts today
ReplyDeletePeople have been wearing shorts here too but not me.
DeleteOh my- maybe that snow will be leaving soon! Did the bunnies leave you anything? A chocolate egg? I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!
ReplyDeletethe snow left us the next day but tonight we get more.
DeleteOh, goodness! Snow and freezing temps on Easter! I think those bunnies just didn't know what day to was.
ReplyDeleteNor surprising here. we get more snow tonight.
DeleteThe snow is a delightful sight!
ReplyDeleteWe had rain on Easter Sunday and a bit more yesterday, but it seems more or less settled now. Good Friday was pleasant weather though.
Did you know that ten rabbits running backwards is a receding hare line?...:(
ReplyDeleteWe're having a pretty damp, grey spring, but at least the snow is done! Poor Easter bunny!!
