You'll never guess! I had lots of snow on the ground again this morning! Yes, about 4 cm (1 1/2) .
Calgary had lots more snow and Banff in the mountains had 20 cm (8 in ) of snow this morning.
About 4 :00 PM the snow had melted.
Okay, this is getting old, Red. I think you should stop having snow one of these days... right? :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, the post topic is getting stale but it will snow when it wants to just like at your place where it will rain when it wants to.
DeleteImagine if all this snow was coming as rain, how grey and dreary it would be ... at least the white is bright.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to make it better, I really am :)
I'm not a rain person and living on the prairie is very dry.
DeleteWow, that looks like a real winter!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you didn't get any snow like that all winter.
DeleteI heard 25cm in Manitoba!
ReplyDelete25 cm is a lot of snow.
DeleteBurr! Looks cold. It's been cold here in Portland, but not THAT cold.
ReplyDeleteIt was pleasant , but I think some people would consider it cool.
DeleteYou are never going to get away from that this month. There is a warning in the NE corner of Iowa for that to come, but I hope not to see it.
ReplyDeleteOur 5 day forecast is very dismal.
DeleteI know we wont' see snow for until at least Nov
ReplyDeleteWe have it here too, I would say Thanks for sharing but really Red...warm up would you and share that!! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I promise that when i warms up I'll send it your way.
DeleteWhat a beautiful sight to see!
ReplyDeleteYes, I know . You love snow.
DeleteAlthough I admit that your photos show a beautiful scene. I'm VERY glad that it never happens here...
ReplyDeleteYou don't know one of the great pleasures in life!!!
DeleteBringing my son and his wife that way in August. That snow better be melted!
ReplyDeleteThings will be nice in August. It's a much drier time. There will be snow in the high country , but I've walked through that .
ReplyDeleteAbout Red Snow...
ReplyDeleteRed Snow was a British thermonuclear weapon. Its physics package was identical to that of the United States W28 nuclear warhead used in the B28 nuclear bomb and AGM-28 Hound Dog missile, with an explosive yield of approximately 1.1 megaton.
It does look really nice.
ReplyDeleteWill it ever be spring ???? I imagine you are very bored with a white world by now.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get the snow but people less than 15 miles away did get a good inch of snow.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you're done with snow by now.
