My math yesterday was terrible. It was 40 years ago Elvis died not 50.
So no wonder some of you felt very old.
Two sharp eyed bloggers caught my error. The first was Steve at Shadows and light and the second was Bill at Somewhere in Ireland.
Thanks to the two sharp eyed bloggers and thanks to readers for putting up with me.
Don't worry about it Red, we all make mistakes like that! I enjoyed your post on Elvis and I'm afraid I feel old either way!
ReplyDelete(I didn't even notice the date difference)
That happens!
ReplyDelete:-)
ReplyDeleteBeing mathematically challenged and a former history teacher, given to broad generalizations and analysis being off by fifty years is only a drop in the bucket so keep on keeping on. Your doing fine Red.
ReplyDeleteWow! I just got a ten year reprieve from feeling so old! :-)
ReplyDeletehappened before I was born so I didn't catch that
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you so very much.
ReplyDeletelol!
DeleteI hadn't caught your mistake, but still, even 40 gives me pause. I remember at the time I was working part time (my kids were still little) at a Budget Rent a Car for a megalomaniac woman who was an Elvis fanatic.
ReplyDeleteNot my favorite job.
I don't know... 40 sounds like a long, long time ago too, but I remember that day.
ReplyDeleteYears are just numbers and with something like that I just take your word for it!!
ReplyDeleteWell I FEEL ten years older than I actually am anyway!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who shared Elvis' birthday. As I said on Facebook yesterday, they are sharing their birthdays now.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! Everybody needs an editor now and then! :)
ReplyDeleteEither i made mistake in mentioning about my age
ReplyDeleteI was 7 then.
I am quite expert in making mistakes specially when i sit to write post they are numerous
