The sun rose today at 8:26. I took these photos just before 8:00 AM. The light was changing quickly so the second shot, less than a minute later, is much lighter.
I spent a precious few minutes eating apple slices with my grand daughter as we watched the sky turn from pink and blue to orange and yellow. Then she got bored and wanted to do something else. PS: My husband loves Ernie Lyall's book. I'm about half way through. What a fascinating glimpse of a different place and time and people.
He tells a great story. Ernie was well known all over the north. I never met him but I did teach his son Pat in gr 8. Pat was 18 when I had him so the 13 and 14 year olds he was with were like little children.
This is a beautiful sky with all the textured clouds. It reminds me of some clouds that I photographed but your photos and clouds are so much greater in color and texture. Great shots.
Gorgeous. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteThose are pretty fluffy clouds Mr. Red! Replaces the foggy skies we had in K.C. this morning. Linda in Kansas
