EYE DROPS

      Eye drops , eye drops,

      I love eye drops.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes. The left eye was done on Aug. 2 and the right eye on Aug 16. The surgery went fine. The biggest problem was that the surgery was out of town and my wife doesn't drive so I had to ask for some rides and then get backup rides in case someone had to cancel out.

The biggest issue was the eye drops. The Micro Manager put in more than 476 eye drops. I had drops for a few days before surgery and lots of drops in the hospital just before surgery.

I'm not complaining. The results are fantastic.

  4. 476 drops!
I hate trying to do eye drops in my eyes or anyone else's but after 476 it might be easier.
I'm glad you love the result

  5. Speaking of which, I have dry eye and should reach over to the table beside me and put some in.

  6. It's like a miracle from The Bible. Jesus walked into the village and saw Blind Red sitting under a tree. He touched Red's forehead and lo! He could see again!

  21. Cataract surgery really is a game changer, isn't it? I swear my mother's confusion is less now that she can see better. It seems that she is even retaining some things she is told better than she did before. She is certainly enjoying life far more. She can see the birds and people out walking their dogs, and she can read the signs everywhere we go. Well, I would be grouchy too if I couldn't see properly! I'm so glad you've had excellent results. It's nice when the eye drops are finished!

  25. Glad it all turned out well. 476 is a lot of drops! Also, I enjoyed your post about seeing the Queen once. Will you watch the funeral? We will, and it looks like it will start at 3AM our time in Seattle. Have a good weekend ahead.
