I accidentally looked out about 11 AM this morning and this is what I saw. There was an amazingly heavy hoarfrost particularly on the spruce trees. It was bright , clear and minus 7 C.
We don't get many January days like this.
Brrrrrrrrrr.....these pictures gave me the shivers to look at them. I'm sure the frost sparkled in that brilliant sun though.
Hoarfrost is a particular winter delight. Beautiful shots!
Beautiful. Like sugar frosting!
Wow, lovely winter scenes, pretty photos. We still have not had any snow here, just rain. Take care, have a great day!
How fortunate to have such a gorgeous winter scene outside the window. It looks so cold out there.
Sunny with frost looks delightful.
So pretty! It almost looks like blossoms. :-)
So pretty, Red! Hope you are safe and cozy inside!
Looks like a cold and beautiful morning there. Love the frost on the trees.
Beautiful! That is really impressive frost. It must be heavy on the branches, although I guess not as heavy as snow.
Beautiful!
Those trees are so beautiful Red.
Beautiful winter shots, very pretty.
Hoarfrost is rare here, but I have seen it and know how strikingly beautiful it is, especially against a blue sky.
It's very beautiful!
