Seriously? It’s May tomorrow. Does Canada get snow often in May? I can’t remember getting snow in May in Chicago, but yes, in April, there were a few freak snowfalls.
I will put mine away today, I didn’t use it this winter. I had a snow shoveler on retainer and he only needed to shovel once, about two inches. A very expensive winter but hey ho, no snow. Global warming. Gigi
We are all singing from the same hymn sheet Red - take of your vest and the temperature drops ten degrees next day, put the weed killer away thinking you've won - the dreaded Mares Tail pops up between the paving next day. Ir's called the changing of the seasons.
Yes, it snowed after my son in law carried all my snow removal stuff away from the front door...but like you said this time of year it melts...usually!
I cannot believe that you broadcast this out into the great wide world, Red. Now EVERYONE knows who is responsible for this weather: that darn Red, who put away his snowshovel!
Shame you didn't post a picture of your snow shovel Red. Some men have small shovels, some have medium-sized shovels but I bet you have got a great big one with "PROPERTY OF RED" painted down the side.
Now that you have posted this, everyone will know who's responsible for the snow in May ~ Red, who dared to put his snowshovel away AND say so out loud!!!
same thing in northern part ,my sister in law told few days ago she had to pull out all the warm clothing she had thought won't be needing anymore seasons are stubborn sometimes
I put my shovel away yesterday as well! My thinking was the same and not the first time! But also with the knowledge that it won’t last! Hopefully!😁
ReplyDeleteI like your last word "hopefully" And You would bet money that we get more snow.
DeleteOf course it snowed because you put your snow shovel away, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat a weather tease.
I seem to have too much power on the weather in a negative way.

ReplyDeleteWe do get snow in May but not often. We also get snow in June just the odd time.

ReplyDeleteWeather is very unpredictable. We never know what we'll get.
DeleteIt feels like summer here and still very dry. Take care, have a great day!
ReplyDeleteOh no! We had our winter tires taken off Monday. We shall see!
ReplyDeleteI don't use winter tires.
DeleteWe had snow yesterday too. Luckily it doesn’t stay these days.
ReplyDeleteOur snow isn't staying either.

ReplyDeleteSo they can blame you for that snow, Red! We just keep our shovels in the garage all year! :)
ReplyDeleteI am trying to smile through this snowfall!
ReplyDeleteMay begins as April ends although that was April in your case.
ReplyDeleteThe title of this post said it all! The snow was laughing as it fell. LOL! Really glad melted right away. (NewRobin13)
ReplyDeleteHappy May Day!

ReplyDeleteWell, at least there will be no shoveling -- so you still win!
ReplyDeleteLOL!

ReplyDeleteI do hope you didn't jinx it! Whatever happens, spring is definitely coming to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere! :-)

ReplyDeleteWell, I have a small shovel. I can move faster with a small shovel. I don't have my name on the shovel but it's bright red.
DeleteOnce again, I think Catalyst nailed it. 😊

ReplyDeleteI certainly hope there's no snow when we go to Illinois next week, BUT then I can't recall ever getting snow in May when we lived there.
