IT WORKS

I have been slowly working on transferring my photos from my old computer.

First, I had to find out that I would need a memory stick.

Then I had to figure out how to download to the memory stick. Funny things happened. First, I loaded about a dozen files and then zip it decided to load about 4000 photos on it's own.

Well, I didn't know if anything loaded or not so I thought I'd check. Things looked wonderful until I discovered that I was on the old computer and not the memory stick. That was a blow to my confidence. So okay, the photos were on my memory stick..

Well then it took a while for me to try using a photo from the memory stick. I finally got up courage and then had to look around and find out how to open a file on blogger. After about an hour it worked.

So for today's blog, I will show you the second photo I every took on a digital camera. Here I am in 2008 watching birds about a km from my house.

  1. You are brave in the new world! Congrats!! Guess you wouldn't want to come to Kansas to help me with photo stuff, eh? Yea, it's in the middle of the U.S., with the creepy alleged leader. Guess you should stay home. Linda in Kansas

  2. Good for you! The computer often drives me crazy so I have to ask my son-in-law for help. I guess it must be good for us to use our brains to figure out these new fangled computer systems.

  3. I admire your persistence in organising photos.
How on earth is it almost 20 years since 2008?
