What wealth the show to me had brought.
From William Wordsworth's I wandered Lonely as a Cloud
This bank of clouds built up in mid afternoon |
More of the same cumulus clouds. |
More of this huge bank of clouds |
Clouds are beautiful but at the same time it takes tremendous energy to build a cloud and that energy is contained in the cloud.
These clouds built up the other day and stayed south of me. I could enjoy the beauty but had sunshine all the time and I didn't get wet.
that really is a thick and powerful bunch!
ReplyDeleteYes, we get some pretty good clouds but only get a good view once in a while.
DeletePretty sky. And it's always a bonus when you stay dry.
ReplyDeleteNot often we see them with the sun shining on them.
DeleteI really like clouds and the fat puffy one do hold my attention. Your shots are great. MB
ReplyDeleteThese were just boiling up.
DeleteAh. The beauty of the clouds without the pain. A nice way to go. They look like they were really cooking somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI think somebody got wet over there.
DeleteSo pretty with that blue sky. I could watch clouds build all day.
ReplyDeleteYes, I envy the big sky you have to watch clouds. Here, there's always some house in the way.
Deletethose clouds have really caught my eye lately
ReplyDeleteThe prairie gets some great cloud build ups in the summer.
DeleteWonderful photos, fantastic sky :) Regards
ReplyDeleteThanks. I love to sit and watch things change as the clouds drift along.
DeleteThey are so pretty and frothy. I love clouds, and these are particularly beautiful, Red. Thanks for sharing them with me. :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't think you get the big cumulus build ups we have here . You don't get the heat.
DeleteAWESOME Red I love that beauty. B
ReplyDeleteI like watching these build ups when the sun shines on them.
DeleteNow, those are monsters Red - glad they stayed south of you. We had a tremendous black cloud come by two nights ago, and that's all it did. We prepared for the downpour, but the cloud stayed on the other side of the river in U.S.A. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThey are monsters. i guess I could have looked on the weather channel to see how high they were.
DeleteClouds are, among other things, great receptacles for our imagination.
ReplyDeleteAnd how many artists include clouds to draw things out from their paintings?
DeleteClouds, especially big puffy ones such as these, remind me of days gone by, laying in the fields and staring at the clouds finding shapes and/or objects in the sky. Fantastic memories of days gone by, I just might have to do this again before our snow flies, reconnect with big white puffy clouds which look like clusters of giant marshmallows. :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day Red!
Hey, I sit in my back yard everyday and check the clouds.
DeleteWow...they are beautiful! They look like white mountains in the background.
ReplyDeleteClouds are great for letting people use their imagination.
DeleteWhat a lovely bank of clouds!
ReplyDeleteYou only get a couple chances a summer to see something like this.
DeleteWow what a clouds.
ReplyDeleteGreat Pictures Red. Love it when clouds are full and beautiful like that but don't block the sun !
ReplyDeleteRed, you have built up an amazing readership due to your personal magantism. You are an amazing man!
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous clouds. THey remind me of snow-capped mountains!
