I finally got out today to get a few photos. It was icy on the fingers. One has to keep the camera inside your coat so that batteries don't die in the camera.
My old friend with a snowy top |
Long November shadow |
Ruts in the snow |
I like my spruce trees with snow on them |
More shadow and ruts in the snow. |
Some people have shoveled a lot of snow |
And this car carries a heavy load of snow |
it looks pretty with the sunshine, but i know that gives no warmth at those low temperature ranges! yikes! stay safe up there, red!
ReplyDeleteThe shots look marvelous, but then I am silly for loving winter weather.
ReplyDeleteYou can send us a little snow, not too much! We have wind chill advisories until noon tomorrow...you know the old freeze your skin off in 30 seconds:(
ReplyDeleteIt looks very pretty! It's been cold here..not your kinda cold, but upper teens and with the wind! Yikes! Bundle up so only my eyes are seen! Lol!
ReplyDeleteCheri
This is a wonderful set of photographs.
ReplyDeleteThe cold woke me up early. I went fishing on Friday and it had opened the small lake up with the warm.
ReplyDeleteThat is really cold overthere -30C , I have never experienced that. We have come now to 2 C with an eastern wind, which makes it feel rather cold (for us).
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures. It looks really cold! And here I am complaining about the cold front that is supposed to arrive here tomorrow...the high temperature will be in the 40's. :)
ReplyDeleteNice winter shots! It certainly looks like winter where you are! It hasn't really found us yet, but I'm sure it's on its way! You can't escape winter in Canada.
ReplyDeleteEven though it's a nuisance that snow is really beautiful to look at. I have learned what you mean about the batteries in the camera. I haven't looked to see if they recovered at all. :-)
ReplyDeleteBrrr indeed. You have full-fledged winter there. My son is en route to Albert from here in Ontario, this week. I get the weather reports along the way.
ReplyDeleteI love snow and winter, although it is not my favourtie season!! I don't like the slush :))) Its unfortunate that where I live, there is no winter. Love your pictures!
ReplyDeleteI'm shivering just looking at your pictures, which are very pretty, by the way.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking you got yer long johns on. I remember Dad getting ready for work at the Port and he would walk around the kitchen in wool socks up to his knees and his long johns. ha,ha Your photos are so sharp and I love the ruts n shadows. I don't think the cold weather would keep you in - I picture you on skis , eh. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Our snow has all gone. I should go out and find some kindling before it falls again.
ReplyDeleteI spent the day yesterday volunteering at the Day Hospice. I was wiped out! cheers
Awww... It's nice to see the beauty of snow again.
