I just noticed that fall is well advanced here and that if I'm going to get any fall photos I' better take action.
Now to complicate things my computer died so I have to use the iPad . I have not become proficient with the iPad yet so there are chalenges.
Most of my garden has been taken out. The forecast is to ,turn wet and cold and I'd rather not have to take the garden out in the cold and wet.k
Well here I am two days later and I haven't been able to finish the post. The truth is that I can't get pictures on to my post.
So I have pictures on the iPad but don't know how to get them on my blog.
So posts will be few until I learn some things and get another computer.
I do read all your posts.
I have an app called Blogger on my iPad. I don't see it in the App Store but you can access it through Google.com. It coordinates with your blog and makes it easy to post pictures. I sometimes start my post on the iPad, add my photos, then later on I will finish it on the laptop.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

Thanks for the info.
DeleteI'll try it. Thanks for visiting Hiawatha
House.
I wish you luck! I have never had an ipad so I wouldn't know where to start! I look forward to your pictures
ReplyDeleteI rarely use the iPad so I'm not used to it.
DeleteThe weather certainly has changed. I was going to take out my garden at end of the summer season this year but decided to leave it once again for the birds to eat until Spring. Happy photo taking. I hope you will share some beautiful autumn colours here.
ReplyDeleteI think most of our Color will disappear tomorrow as it will be very windy.
Deletep.s. I don't have an IPad. I'm sure there is a simple way to transfer them to your computer. Do you have an App (I have one on my phone called Share Link and it allows me to send and receive photos to and from my computer. If you don't have that or can't figure it out, you could add photos to your google photos and upload them from there to your post or just send them from your IPAD to yourself at your computer. I don't know if you can send and receive from the same email account. If not, set up a 2nd account for this purpose if it helps you.
ReplyDeleteI'll try it. I think this should work.
DeleteI have lots of tomatoes still and just starting to see colors
ReplyDeleteI think our colours will disappear tomorrow as it's to be very windy.
DeleteI found that to get pictures on my posts using my iPad I would need to download an app. And none of them get very good reviews, so I don't use it for posting. My laptop works just fine, though. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe iPad is temporary until I get a, new computer.
DeleteYou can download your email onto your ipad and then email yourself photos- open in your ipad and save photo to ipad. I do that for instagram sometimes. Have a super weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe reason I'm using the iPad is that my computer died I've used your idea many times before.
DeleteI do all my work on desktops, so hopefully some of the other suggestions work.
ReplyDeleteThe resident desk top here died so that's why
DeleteI' using the iPad.
Sounds like you've got a couple of suggestions for using photos with your ipad. Bloggers are great to help out.
ReplyDeleteFall is not quite here for us yet; only a few trees have started to turn. But it's coming :)
We get a big wind tomorrow so most of our leaves will be gone.
DeleteComputers are great! Right up until they stop working.
ReplyDeleteI had this same dilemma a while back. I gave up, and just waited until my PC was repaired.
And when they stop working you are left in deep trouble.
DeleteAutumn weather can change quite drastically, so you're right, best to move quickly this time of year! Good luck with the iPad.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is changing quickly as a cold front is moving in now. Yesterday it was25 c
DeleteHi Red, I re-read your issue. I see I didn't comprehend it properly late last night.
ReplyDeleteI gather you have your photos on your Ipad and you are having to write your post on the Ipad and want to know how to get your photo/s into the post. Try clicking photos (as you do when you use your laptop or computer). When you see the options there you click "From Your Phone". See if that works.
Sorry about the tech problems.
ReplyDeleteWe will start putting our garden to bed this coming week.
By "Fall" I assume you mean Autumn... or have you had a "fall" - perhaps tripping over The Micro Manager's slippers? I hope you are up and running again soon - it's nice to have a regular dose of Red.
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying this cooler weather. Oh, I would be lost with an iPad! Lost!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your computer dilemma, I hope you can work it out. Fall is here so I need to clean up my garden stuff. I only have a few tomatoes and peppers left in the ploy tunnel. Summer just seems to fly by these days.
ReplyDeleteI use an app called Blog Touch Pro for iPad. Very easy to add photos. If you try it and have a problem I might be able to help as I've used it for quite a while now.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Sorry you're having computer trouble! It can be tough to learn a new system once we've established a routine for blogging (or doing anything else, for that matter). Hope you figure out that iPad soon!
ReplyDeleteBlog Touch pro works great! I have it on my Ipad but hardly ever use it. You can email yourself a photo off your ipad:)
ReplyDeleteThe iPad is a little bit of a learning curve, isn't it? We bought our SIL's old one. It does us for healthcare. Let me know if I can help!
