YOU'LL NEVER GUESS!

You'll never guess but we have another spring snowstorm today. Snow started in mid morning and continued into the afternoon. So it gave me an opportunity to take photos of one of my regular topics.

If you enlarge some of these you will see the snow flakes.

  1. Brrr. We are having below normal temps, too, and above normal rainfall. Ugh.

  3. We had a massive snow then ice storm. I think I prefer snow! Except that the snowblower is away for the season.

    1. Birds do well. These waxwings stay all winter and are about ready to move north for nesting.

  5. I'll add my grumbling to yours and the birds. Come on, spring! You can do it, come out and enjoy the sunshine instead of the precipitation, please! :-)

  8. The bohemian waxwings look like very large buds on the trees! That looks to have been a heavy snowfall. I love the look and feel of that kind of snow, but not the results. Hopefully you'll have a melt soon.

  10. Yes we are told that we will return to winter again tomorrow. Those scenes could look just like central Iowa. We lost snow today on a cold windy day but tomorrow they are saying the ride to work will be an adventure. I will stay home all day.

  12. It's pretty but "enough already", right? My daughter in Minnesota got 15 new inches last weekend and another snow day off school for the kids. I think they will be making up school days until the 4th of July!
