Just for information: ... it didn't rain here today. ...but it did snow! Just for more information: ... it's going to snow tomorrow. ... about 10 cm (4 in).
Isn't this your third snow this Fall? Wow, and you still have leaves on the trees which can cause too much weight with the snow. We once had an October snow and suffered many broken limbs since the trees were still full of leaves.
As much as I like to see snow, I hope its arrival here in NH is much later than is your area.
ReplyDeleteThis is very abnormal weather . We can get sept snow but not usually.
DeleteI'm not sure if I should wish you enjoyment of the snow?
ReplyDeleteI just wish I could get some weather to finish my gardening!
DeleteOh my gosh! It’s only October 1st! You skipped over fall and went straight into winter. Is this normal for Canada?
ReplyDeleteWe also skipped spring this year.
DeleteWow! If you got snow they must have got some further north of you. It's been raining here. A few weeks ago when you got snow Whistler got some too.
ReplyDeleteCalgary got the worst of it. Of course, the mountains always get early snow.
DeleteFYI, it rained here today. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll be sure to tel you when we get rain!

ReplyDeleteYou're right this is the third snow. It's also abnormally cool for more than three weeks.
DeleteYou Albertans are hardy folk - to have to endure such very long winters.
ReplyDeleteWe are hardy , but not that hardy!
DeleteReady for a sleigh ride? Rather early I suppose.
ReplyDeleteWell, the kids have been making snow men!
DeleteSince our fall has not started, I am just a little shocked at this!
ReplyDeleteWell we haven't had fall yet either!!!!
DeleteHello, the snow looks pretty. We had a warm sunny Monday. I am hoping it is nice all week here. Enjoy your day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI would like some warm weather to finish gardening.
DeleteI hope you have your shovelling muscles in shape, Red!
ReplyDeleteI've only done some minor shoveling. This will melt.
DeleteIt's pretty and I always loved the first snow in Minnesota. In fact, I enjoyed it right up to about the end of, oh, February!

ReplyDeleteHey , good thing somebody is happy with my snow.
DeleteWelcome to autumn!
ReplyDeleteI think we skipped autumn.
DeleteNormally I like the warm weather. But right now, when it's 80 degrees here in Pennsylvania on Oct. 2, I find your photos refreshing.
ReplyDeleteI can find more refreshing photos if you'd like!
DeleteYikes, hope it stays up there for a bit. I still have lots of apples to pick.
ReplyDeleteThis seems to be a north to south system and hugs the Rockies.
DeleteWow, you are getting a lot of snow so early. Or is it normal there for this time of year?
ReplyDeleteWe do get snow in Wept. but it's not common. This is brutal.
