I don't have very many photos on my blog. Lack of photos concerns me but many of my topics don't lend themselves to photos.
Today will be different as this is a photo post.
I spent the afternoon going over photos and found one set of photos that I liked and decided to post them. The photos are from 2015 but they show some nice winter days after a big snow fall.
Snow on trees is very photogenic, isn't it? A lovely group of shots here!
ReplyDeleteSpruce trees seem to hold a lot of snow.
DeleteIt could be Minnesnowda:)
ReplyDeleteOh yes, you can get lots of good snow photos.
DeleteHappy 2020 Red. Your photos show a beautiful, winter wonderland.
ReplyDeleteAfter a fresh snowfall things look bright and clean.
DeleteThese are beautiful snow pictures Red! I especially love the pictures of the snow in the trees. These pictures also remind me of the very special kind of muffled "quiet" that you hear in a fresh snow.
ReplyDeleteIf you want something really quiet and muffles try and igloo!
DeleteGreat series of winter shots. Canadian, eh?
ReplyDeleteVery Canadian!
DeleteAt least you have some real winters. Here they pass by with rain and fog, we do see hardly any snow or ice anymore...
ReplyDeleteClimate change is with us.
DeleteHello, I do love your snowy scenes and photos. I have always loved seeing a pine/spruce tree covered with snow. Not everyone has to have a photo blog, some bloggers really have a way with words. I admit my blog is more of a photo blog, a memory keeper.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, wishing you a great day and a happy new week!
The white and green are showy.
DeleteI like winter. It just lasts too long. :)
ReplyDeleteNice one AC.
DeleteIt is snowing here now! I know people who live in warmer climes cannot appreciate the changes winter brings us. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThat's what keeps us hardy!
DeleteThanks for the great winter pictures, Red. We are supposed to be getting some of the white stuff by week's end. :-)
ReplyDeleteSnow looks nice when it's fresh but can soon get brown and gritty.
DeleteThis is a very Canadian post, LOL!
ReplyDeleteIt's the only choice I have! Well, I could put out some summer photos but that wouldn't make sense.
DeleteSince I have thousands of photos over the decades, I spend a good part of every day sorting and indexing and filing. But it is a labor of love.
ReplyDeleteI have only about 2000 photos but thought I'd do some work now rather than later.
DeleteLovely to see the snow there. Lovely wintry scenes.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteYou live in Santa's Winter Wonderland!
ReplyDeleteWhen the snow is new it can be very pretty.
DeleteScenes I enjoy vicariously but rarely see on Lewis.
ReplyDeleteSurprising with your latitude that you wouldn't get snow.
DeleteBeautiful winter snow pictures. We are hoping for at least one big snow here but it probably won't happen.
ReplyDeleteFunny how we get used to the winters we have .
DeleteThe snow makes everywhere look so beautiful doesn't it.
ReplyDeleteYes, and very clean and bright.
DeleteThe best kind of weather you can ask for.
ReplyDeleteYou are the number one fan when it comes to snow.
DeleteSo fresh and clean and ... cold!
ReplyDeleteIt was a clear day so ended up being very bright.
DeleteVery nice snow photos, thanks for sharing Red :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I was just thinking about the differences between snow and rain...one is beautiful
DeleteGreat winter shots. I like how the snow builds up on the trees.
ReplyDeleteThanks. The green and white are very showy.
ReplyDeleteWow, Red, so many neat photos. What a great post. So far we have not had any significant snow here in the city, but there is getting to be quite a bit up in the mountains. Pass travel has been tough. Down here in the city we are more concerned about flooding right now. Wish I had a good rain guage. Thanks for all the pics. Hope you will do this kind of thing again soon.
ReplyDeleteNice winter shots! There is something very appealing about snow on trees.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh! That's a whole lot of snow. So pretty, but hard to drive on.
