I FEEL LIKE CRAP

I feel like crap today and I'll tell you why I think I feel like crap.

I had my sixth covid shot yesterday. It was pfizer with the two parts. So I think I'm under the weather from the results of my covid shot. None of the previous shots bothered me in the least. The Micro Manager had no problems before. But this shot has both of us feeling pretty miserable.  We are fatigued and very irritable. However, I guess it doesn't last long and it's much better than getting covid. We still have about 2000 new cases a week and around 25 deaths a week.

Today I had two grocery stores to visit. I needed seven items at one grocery. I got the wrong brand of one item and then bought an item that was past it's best before date. I was just not sharp at all. The next store  I needed three items and missed two of them altogether. I  seemed to be fighting to stay focused and follow the regular shopping routine.

How many people have had a sixth covid shot? Is the  sixth shot the one that makes us miserable.

  1. Oh dear, so sorry to hear that you and your wife are not feeling well. I haven't had the latest shot but will likely be receiving a notification very soon about scheduling an appointment. Now I'm not sure I want to get it. I hope you get better soon.

  4. Our last one in late Autumn was the double shot..and the flu Jag in the other arm! ( so that they would know which one. If there was a reaction) yes, that does make you feel low for a couple of days.

    1. Feeling a little fuzzy for a day is a small price to pay for safety.

  5. So far I've been lucky with Covid shots -- they haven't bothered me. But I've only had four of them. (Including boosters.)

I'm surprised an item past the sell-by date was still on the store's shelves!

    1. But , you've also had covid? That's the second item I've picked up in the last month that's beyond the best before.

  8. I hope you feel better soon! I felt awful for about half a day after every shot I've gotten. But it passed quickly, so it's okay.

  9. I haven't heard of anyone around here getting the sixth shot. I would like to get it, though, because it's time for something to boost my immunity. Hope you are feeling better soon!

  10. I may be losing track, but I am sure not up to 6. I think it’s 4, but it may be 5. I expect that there will be another round of boosters for we vulnerable ones in the next few months, but the word isn’t really out yet.

  11. I was pondering how one falls like crap when I saw your title but after reading the post, it was just a typo.

I've had the first two part series followed by three boosters, so I guess that makes me as having five shots in the name of Covid. But twice I've gotten Covid, right before I was eligible for the shot which delayed the booster by three months in both cases. The last booster though knocked me down for a couple days afterwards too.

    1. One could have a lot of fun with that typo. I taught middle school so you can imagine how they would run with that one.

  19. Hmm, I think we had our sixths and it seems to me we did have a reaction from them for about 24 hours. But that's now long in the past again. Be well, you two.

  20. Pfizer didn't bother me but Moderna made me tired for a day. I'm glad you're boosted though and hope it keeps you safe. They say it doesn't stop you from getting sick but will help to protect you from getting really, really badly sick.

  22. I've only had a total of 5 shots. The 5th one was in October after I got over Type A flu (from my patient's cousins...) I read about 500 people a week in the U.S. still die from covid. That's 2 airplane-fulls! But people won't listen. I'd heard about pending approval for a 6th one, but I think your Canadian system passes the approvals quicker than the U.S. Glad you got the shot; yep, still better than covid. After seeing people suffocating to death, that's not the way I'd like to check out of this world. A bit of Tylenol might cure your version of the medical crap! As I get older, I have my grocery list, but I don't dare get in the check-out line until I look over the list again. Linda in Kansas

  23. Poor Mr Kline! Nice to read in the comments that you are now back to abnormal. I hope the same is true for your Barnsley lass.

  24. I've had 5 shots. The last one had the most side effects. The news media says we'll have a 6th one here in the US in the near future, especially for seniors and immune compromised.
