This was the staff I was on 45 years ago. It is hard to believe it was that long ago. 14 of these people have passed away. When I look back it was a very talented staff. Yes, I am in this photo.
I feel for that guy who's blinking. The FIRST staff/student photo that was taken of me when I started teaching 1st grade in Illinois was one of me blinking! I couldn't believe it! I never blinked again after that. I made sure of that.
I can not find you, great photo and memory!
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day and happy week ahead.
It was a great staff. I'm bottom row third from the left.
DeleteAt one time, I think on FB, I would see pics of a teacher who wore the same outfit for all 30 or whatever years for the annual photo.
ReplyDeleteYes there are some legends!
DeleteThat is a nice photo to have! I think I see you! Is that you in the bottom row third from the left?
ReplyDeleteYou found me. It was a great staff. One is a former student.
DeleteGreat memories shared for sure!
ReplyDeleteYes , you're right about the memories. You have to work closely when teaching.
DeleteI thought for sure I would be able to pick you out but I cannot make up my mind. Which one is you, Red?
ReplyDeleteI was 40 in the photo and now I'm 85 so it would be difficult to find me.
DeleteThird from the left, bottom row.
ReplyDeleteYou got it!
DeleteI found you! :) We were all younger back then!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a long time go that I was forty.
DeleteI'm thinking bottom row, third from left?
ReplyDeleteYou're thinking right!
DeleteBottom row, third from the left?
ReplyDeleteYou got it even though there's a 45 year difference.
DeleteI recognized you before i read the comments. One guy is in there twice, What is that about?
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to ask the photographer about that one. This guy was one of our caretakers and a real character.
DeleteI'm guessing top row, fourth from left. Hope you confess.
ReplyDeleteThat was my guess as well!
DeleteNope. Bottom row third left.
DeleteWelp, Joanne, you and I have missed out on a Major Award. I'll bet it was Fra-gee-le and everything!
DeleteI'm going to agree with most of the previous comments ... bottom row, 3rd from left. Quick question: Did you save all the yearbooks?
ReplyDeleteI saved all the yearbooks and 12 years ago I donated them to the local archives. The archivist was a former student.
DeleteI can see you with all the other teachers - staring across the decades Red. You are the handsome guy near the bottom left-hand corner.
ReplyDeleteYes. I can't believe that I was ever that young.
DeleteThis was like a game of Guess Who!
ReplyDeleteIt ended up that way but it wasn't my intention.
DeleteI think it's either the bottom row third from the left or the top row in the middle with the stash.
ReplyDeleteYour first guess is right. That guy had a mother of a mustache. He was a former student.
Deletea camera truly saves the moment wow
ReplyDeletei think you are in second most left i guess ,sorry if wrong as tried hard lol
I just read your latest post where you identified yourself in this post. What a great memory this must be to see all those faces.
