After a week of cold, nasty, dull weather things changed yesterday Mar. 6.
We had clear, bright, blue skies. However, it was still cold. We have one more day before it warms up.
So I have some photos from the yard which really don't show how bright things are. With the new snow it's very bright so sunglasses are a must.
Wow, I keep a pair of sunglasses in my car for bright snow days as well as summer sun. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteI used to love the moonlight reflecting on the snow during the night in winter. During the day my eyes would run tears as I walked home from school as the sun reflected off the snow.
ReplyDeleteWinter blue skies are such an intense colour!
ReplyDeleteSunglasses are a must, it is nice to have clear skies.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great day and happy weekend!
I love the beauty of a good fall of snow Red - especially when it is not in my back yard.
ReplyDeleteOur snow was almost gone after buckets of rain earlier this week. Yesterday we got it all back, yuck. I day to get out again would be lovely!

ReplyDeleteYes, it sure is white! Looks wonderful and I hope the warmer weather will melt some of that snow.
ReplyDeleteI love those bright, sunny days, Red. Hope the snow is gone quickly!
ReplyDeleteWow, I am glad that I can get away in the winter.
ReplyDeleteIt must feel great to see blue skies, sharp shadows and sunshine!
ReplyDeleteWe had sun today. I read out on the deck. It was too hot!! Rain on the way.
ReplyDeleteSorry about all that snow and cold. Spring is coming.
Talked to a friend in Bismarck today. He said there wasn't a drop of snow there.
ReplyDeleteI hope you haven't been pelting your neighbours' houses with snowballs!
ReplyDeleteI can tell how blue that beautiful sky is.
ReplyDeleteYay for your blue skies! Ours is all gray right now, BUT we really can use the rain here in Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteCameras tend to 'dull down' snow pics. If your camera has the ability, overexpose a bit.
ReplyDeleteLife in Red Deer fascinates me. Thanks for the snow pics.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see all this new snow, I picture green, green grass to come!
ReplyDeleteYour blue skies are far bluer than ours here because of moist clear the dust particles and sky look more divine ❤
ReplyDeleteVery interesting photos. The tree shadow on snow is intriguing too .
Hope weather be more friendly in future
